David „Marshmallow“ Gibbons gelang es mit seiner Assassine, das gesamte Spiel Diablo II inklusive der Erweiterung Lord of Destruction innerhalb k\u00fcrzester Zeit vollst\u00e4ndig durchzuspielen. Dazu ben\u00f6tigte er im Schwierigkeitsgrad „normal“ im Singleplayer ganze 1:58:22.
\nBesonders interessant ist dabei die vollst\u00e4ndig auf Killspeed und Geschwindigkeit ausgelegte Assassine, welche ab Level 6 Burst of Speed (Beschleunigung – Tempo) und ab Level 12 Wake of Fire (Feuerwelle) skillt, und bis zum Ende benutzt. <\/p>\n

A second way to make the game faster is in the character. In all classes, most of the time sunk will be spent in the first act doing the required leveling. A trap based assassin is the fastest character I have tested due to three reasons: <\/p>\n

1. A ranged area of effect spell that is powerful and mana manageable at level 1 allows for quick leveling. <\/p>\n

2. Burst of Speed allows a large increase in run speed without the requirement of finding faster run boots. <\/p>\n

3. Wake of Fire is an extremely powerful „fire and forget“ spell and it only takes level 12 to earn. Each trap spurts five waves of fire and you can lay five traps on the ground at the same time; every wave pierces through all enemies. This can lead to enormous amounts of damage.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nEs ist hier unbedingt anzumerken, dass im Singleplayer die M\u00f6glichkeit besteht, Savegames zu sichern und sp\u00e4ter wieder einzuspielen. Die bei der Spielerstellung festgelegte Map ver\u00e4ndert sich nicht mehr. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, David „marshmallow“ Gibbons was doing a run of the super-popular PC game Diablo II. He even includes the expansion pack 5th episode, Lord of Destruction. His run is on normal skill, so he creates a new player of class assassin and gets running. The total time, after 10 segments, is 1:58:22.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
