Die gro\u00dfe Games Convention<\/a> in Leipzig ist beendet und in der Ger\u00fcchtek\u00fcche brodelt das Menu Diablo3 wieder auf h\u00f6chster Flamme. Einige Hinweise auf eine Fortsetzung des Diablo Kultspiels hat es bereits auf einigen Spieleseiten gegeben.
Schauen wir uns das Original Interview<\/a> genauer an, auf das Bezug genommen wird. IGN<\/a> hatte in Leipzig das Interview mit Blizzards Chief Operating Officer, Paul Sams, gef\u00fchrt. In erster Linie ging es bei diesem Gespr\u00e4ch um die Expansion „The Burning Crusade“ zu World of Warcraft<\/a>, Pl\u00e4ne f\u00fcr einen Warcraft Movie in Hollywood und damit ist die Arbeitskapazit\u00e4t erst einmal ausgesch\u00f6pft.<\/p>\n

Zuk\u00fcnftige Blizzard Projekte<\/b>:<\/p>\n

„StarCraft is my absolutely favorite game of all time,“ Sams told us. „As you probably already know, there is no doubt that we will continue the StarCraft and Diablo franchise, and trust me, I will be the happiest person in the world when we announce StarCraft 2.“
While Sams wasn“t ready to spill the beans just yet, he did say Blizzard „will have a major product announcement in 2007,“ and that Blizzard was currently working on at least three other unannounced titles at the moment.<\/p>\n

In terms of what these games could be, we asked if they would fall in line with the major success Blizzard has had with World of Warcraft. „I want to be clear that we“re not just content to be an MMO company,“ Sams explained. „Some other companies get into the role of making just MMOs, but Blizzard lets the developers pick what they want to work on, and it“s not all MMOs.“<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Nat\u00fcrlich wird die Starcraft und Diablo Serie fortgesetzt. Momentan arbeitet Blizzard an drei Projekten. Ein gro\u00dfes Projekt wird 2007 angek\u00fcndigt werden. Auf die Frage, ob es schon Details zu diesen Projekten gibt und ob diese in Richtung World of Warcraft gehen werden, meint Paul Sams lediglich, dass Blizzard in Zukunft ihren Schwerpunkt nicht mehr nur in Mehrspieler Online Rollenspiele setzen wird.<\/p>\n
