Why do u want to kill Andy (hell) if Diablo (norm) can also drop everything at Diablo2 Classic?

A Sorc for Andariel? Hmm .. I would prefer Fireball/Meteor because Andariel has -50% fireresist.

Skills .. Meteor, Fireball max, FM max, Static 1-10, Teleport >1,( 2nd Icearmor?) ..
Perhaps you should ask a Mod to transfer this thread into the Classic Forum

Diablo norm can drop every unique - but not rare items with every affix.

Meteor 20, fire ball 20, fire bolt x, fire mastery 10+x, static field ~5, teleport ~10
should be enough to kill andariel quite fast.

51Dex (for shard only),
~100 - 150 ene (depens on playing style),
~250 vita (as much as possible).


Items:
Magefist,
Shard,
Twitch,
17/30/20 pris shield,
belt (fhr/ life/ res/ str),
2 sojs if possible (else res/str/ mana/ life rings),
+2 pris amu (str/ dex/ life/ ..),
helm (fhr/ life/ res),
boots (hotspurs or res/ dex boots).


You should go for all res 5x++,
~500mana,
~800life++,
try to reach around 6x fhr,
with this setup you reach 70fc, enough in my opinion.

I guess, he's quite new to the game (or to classic), so that setup will be hard to afford for him.
I would suggest to use full iratha's set combined with twitch and ward or a shield with 3 perfect diamonds. As weapon u gotta use shard and u need 2 fc-rings to reach 70 fc. As boots, the best choice would be rares with as much res as possible.
This setup gives u 85 all res, enough dex to wear shard and ok block (good block when using ward). And it's a really cheap setup, so you should be able to get it soon.
So u can stat str for equipment, ~100-150 ene for mana and all the rest in vit.

Concerning the skills, I wouldn't go for fb/meteor because of the fire-immunes next to andy. Sometimes they all stand around you when tanking andy and damage you a lot.
I'd prefer a standard orb-build (20 orb, 20 cold mastery, 20 synergy (whatever the name was...), 1 static, 1 point in the ice-armors, rest tele (for low mana-costs while teling). Orb is easy to handle and can kill andy fast enough (dont forget to static first).

chanceguards
30/20 prism bone (shop in a2)
mf boots
shard for tele/gull to kill

What about Blizzard? Although Andariel suffers from her famous negative fire resistances, Ice Mastery at skill-level 21 has almost the same effect (Andariel has 66 cold resistance in hell; ice mastery at 21: - 120 cold resistance).

In my opinion Blizzard is much more fun. You can easily kill mephisto, too plus get some level-ups at the countess' tower and the ancient tunnels (lost city, act II) - no cold immunes there. Moreover, you don't have to care about the fire immune monsters surrounding Andariel.

I wouldn't go for the iratha set, simply cos i don't like it.
My advice would be :
3 PT helmet , Shard , Twitch(more block and 20fhr cap) , Ward or shield socked with 3 PD's,
Magefists (20fc) so you can wear 2 Nagel = more mf combo plus you reached 70% fc cap.

I got one question though :
Why are you going for MF?Trying to find SoJ's?
Usually you are trying to find nice rare items here, and thanks to the Andariel Quest Bug she always drops lots of rares if u got 0(!!) MF.
-->thus ppl are avoiding mf on items if possible

Skills : ~ 10 or more for Teleport , ~5 for static , rest into either Blizzard or Orb + Cold mastery of course.

To add a little bit confusion, i prefer Orb

Twitch, Iratha, Ward, 2 FC-Ring, Res-Boots

20 Orb+Prereqs+Syns

Rest Static+Teleport - Teleport because you need less mana for the way down - HC, so my points went to vita instead of energy, never had more than 300 Mana

Anyway... your choice. And a little secret: you dont need to know exactly how to skill such a sorc 100%. That game isnt that hard

Orb kann auch die Fallens aus dem Weg räumen, aber wenn man mit Statik und Meteor/Feuerball schnell genug ist, kann man denen auch einfach ausweichen. Man muss Statik ja nicht auf 1 lassen...
