How long have you been in London now? Sounds pretty much to me, more than 15 Kg lost.
My third year by now. The weird thing is that I lose weight even though I do work out every second day (well, not here at home).

I don't get the clue here but depending on your kind of workout it sounds quite logical to me that you lose weight.

It does? I'm gaining weight by workout and that's the normal way I'd say. Muscles weigh more than fat ^^

I've been looking forward to the Four Hills tournament since the last one ended, now it's finally on and the commentary is just gruesome. And that's not just blah blah, it's really hard to take. So by now I've muted the tv and talk in a ski jumping chat - which works out way better for me;)

Damn right, I'm getting upset ... I'll have to try some nice protein shakes as soon as I'm back in the UK.

Workout in the first hand is similar to "training". That's why I said "depending on the type". If you just train for endurance (bicycle, heavy aerobics or something like that) you will rather loose weight, because you burn and burn and don't get a certain amount of muscles as a reward.

If you workout with weights or do sports like rowing or Swimming, you will build up muscles mainly and these are indeed heavier than fat.

Your weight loss depends on the kind of exercise you do.

And that leads to the next question: If you loose weight although doing "bodybuilding" maybe something is wrong with your metabolism and you should call a doc just as a prevention.

I wondered why there was so much spamming when the portal site was launched...even I (hrhr) was overwhelmed by the speed of the posts coming in :D .

About 90% of the posters seemed to hail pq.de for being teh best!!!! or such...

Then the poll "which ingame site do you come from" launched. I was the first one for PlanetDiablo.eu! Standing against ~20 pq.de - voter.

I then had a small suspicion.

Then I visited pq.de just for the sake of being curious.

After seeing this forum, I laughed.

After seeing topics like this, I went Ô.o.

After seeing this, I fled.

well, usually pq is by far the best ingame forum. over 70% of the regular posters are students or workers (means: almost no kiddies), the threads are just funny as hell like this one) and the mods don't have a broom in their ass like most others have (*hust* masterjm *hust*).
that's why the reaction on the thread surprised me.

oh, and #hirnfick is probably the best channel on the quakenet, the people there are just fine, almost no assholes and a lot of very meaningful discussions take place there ("becks!" "nein, jever!" "becks!").
that pq stormed the ingame forums like that was kinda surprising, considering that pq is one of the smallest ingame sites (altough it is the 2. oldest :D ).

So, you mean that students and workers spring quite easily in the role of a maturing (what the heck is "Pubertät" in English?) teenager...?

...like here :p ? OK, the humor is...discussable, but I am quite sure you would agree that this kind of topic is "niveauless".

If I post an "agree" here, I will get a broom shoved up my ass, so I just let it be (or maybe my post will be erased, whatever).

"I don't drink beer!" (<---Me)

"Stone him!"

...or what :p ?

This I didn't know. Well, when there are Posts to make :p ...at India (IN India?) we are far more settled, I think. What is spam here is...not spam at pq.de, I think.

I hate nothing more than straight stamina sports. People may enjoy running and get organsms or whatever from it, but I never saw the reason of stupidly running around. Erm, yes, I usually lift weights and go swimming occasionally.

The thing is that metabolism is my subject. Although I'm no nutritional chemist my knowledge in biochemistry grants me insight. So I actually know how to work out. Might only be some testosteron boost - I always hated to be a late bloomer...

It feels good to be slim anyway. Keeping up with my skinny gf, hehe.

I'm more of the big guy;)

104kg/229lbs at 1,80m/5'11". And yeah, I should get rid of some weight. But with all that injuries it's been quite hard to work on my fitness. Luckily it's very easy for me to lose weight, 5kg in 2 weeks is no problem - without Yo-Yo-effect. The next 2kg are harder but that's where I belong - with 97kg I have not much fat left. Anyway, I still feel good with my current weight and that's what really counts. Remembers me of an ex-girlfriend who forbade me to diet - I had to remain "cuddleable" *g*

I agree with the stamina part - long distance running or whatever is just so damn boring, I could never stand it for more than 2 or 3 weeks straight.

Damn. Exactly like me. In cause of my fitness I don't got any problem with my weight. I do martial arts and played for 13 years football, so there is no problem ;) And nobody is able to see, that I'm that heavy ;)

Just using the opportunity to wish everyone here a happy new year.

Just using the opportunity to do exactly the same thing without having to think of what to say;)

outch my neck hurts :<
and i don't even know why.
well, whatever.

happy new year

Too hard to think after New Years Eve? :D

Well, I got drunk with our ingame technician..along with some 20 other people I didn't know until yesterday. I think I remember slapping a guy's butt. But not too sure about that. I definitely remember falling in a ditch on the grass..well, more swamp then grass but whatever. I think someone stole my lighter, I definitely remember finding one, that wasn't mine. I do remember writing some SMS at midnight and getting a weird "Wrong number" message back. But then again, I could re-read that message this evening, so I'm not too sure if I actually remembered. I think we were talking about ropes, handcuffs and threesomes but not too sure about that either. I do remember a very weird fondue which just refused to get hot and burning my hand on the flame. I think there was lots of "Krumme" but then again, it could've been Wodka. Sadly I do remember a chair breaking down under my weight. And I do remember a very strange Bavarian who told me, I was an alcohol addict until I told him how much I had drunk up to that point - after that he was certain that I hadn't drunken enough. I remember a huge bowl of noodle salad - and by huge I mean holymotherofchrististhisabowlorabathtubhuge. With tangerines and tuna, simply delicious. Props to KingNarg's mother for that.

Are you sure you didn't burn your hand on KingNargs Mother while trying to thank her for the meal and therefore proposing a threesome with handcuffs and ropes with her? :D

Anyway... sounds like a nice evening to me. Too bad you can't tell your kids of it because you don#t remember ;)
