Fake Blizzard Email

Hallo,

ich habe gerade diese Email bekommen. Da ich keinen World of Warcraft Account besitze, gehe ich davon aus das mit dieser Email Abzocke betrieben wird. Kann das jemand bestätigen? Es ist nicht das erste Mal, das ich diese Art von Email bekomme.

EDIT: Ich habe die Links in der Nachricht mal auf "hxxps" geändert. Nicht das mir da noch jemand versehentlich draufklickt. Im Original fängt die Email mit "https" an, was mir schon sehr komisch vorkommt. Sieht mir jedenfalls stark nach einem Fake aus. Kann man da was gegen machen? Anzeige erstatten, Blitzzard berichten oder ähnliches?

Merkt man doch schon daran wie die Mail geschrieben ist, dass sie ein Fake ist. Schlampige Formulierungen wie "matters of account", "as you may not be aware of" und besonders das "^^" würden nie in einer offiziellen Mail zu sehen sein. Ich nehme mal an der Link (zu einer nicht existierenden Blizzard Seite) ist in der original Mail mit einer anderen URL hinterlegt.

Naja, ist nix neues, so Mails gibt es schon ewig...

Ja, war mir schon irgendwie klar, das dies ein Fake ist. Eine offizielle Email wäre viel professioneller. Sollte ich diese Email mal an den Blizzard-Support weiterleiten? Meint ihr, das bringt was? Ich will, das die Bösen bestraft werden...

Sollte ich diese Email mal an den Blizzard-Support weiterleiten?

Ich denke nicht. Von diesen WoW-Account Mails habe ich im Laufe der Jahre bestimmt schon über 100 bekommen. Jetzt multipliziere das mal mit einer gewissen Anzahl von Internetnutzern und stell Dir vor was passiert, wenn auch nur die Hälfte davon solche Mails an Blizzard weiterleiten würde.

Ausserdem kann man davon ausgehen, dass Blizzardmitarbeiter und deren Bekannte/Freunde/Angehörige ebenfalls diese Mails auf ihre privaten Accounts bekommen und Blizzard sowieso Kenntnis davon hat.
