And now for something completely different...

Ooooh... I wish you all the best :kiss:

And if he hurts you: Beat him! :autsch:

:WD
What's the problem? I mean ... what exactely has to be done? I'm kind of curious about all medical things by profession.

I need Leo for this

*search*

An inlay broke and has to be renewed. But it's a big one and with bad luck I need a crown.

And such 5 days before christmas....

Again: Best wishes and all my sympathy :kiss:
I hope it won't be a big issue! It's definitely not fun slurping your christmas dinner through a straw...

awww, teeth problems are nasty.
i was at the dentist on monday, but just for a checkup and a teeth-clearing. luckily everything is fine.
but on sunday i almost broke off a tooth on a olive core. god, i hate it when there are some with and some without cores in the jar...

Good Luck. Only a new inlay.

And I don't eat Olives ;)

but you should, they're delicous ^^ I like olives, especially in holiday in greece (italy sucks.. especially their language, I can't stand it.)

oh man, I should learn for english and now I'm here, posting to an english thread xD and I have such uninterressting topics for the test, I mean, headscarfs, globalisation, immigration... those topics may be current, but I can't hear that stuff anymore... globalisation, gotta hate that topic.

Omg, I picked the wrong thread, I posted here what I listened right now :lol:
Well, my day was long and hard, so sorry :tree:
But I wondered why suddenly everybody posted in English in the music thread... :hammer: :D

Wrong Thread, StarFire? :WD

It's good to hear that your teeth will be fine for christmas, drago! To get back onto some interesting topic: What will you eat for Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year? My family's tradition is carp on Christmas Eve, some venison on first christmas day and potato salad & sausage on second. I expect to have Raclette on New Year (Oh, joy! :) )

@Starfire

Wrong thread, huh?

@Teeth

Well, teeth problems are evil. Fortunately, i have teeth of steel. No really, in my whole life, there had not been a single teeth that was broken, fall apart, destroyed or anything like that. It's the same, old pattern: Go in -> Check teeth for 30 sec -> Thanks for checking -> Bye.

@Dirtbiker

You could be in my class. It is the same topic. And i can't take anymore.

Well, I edited my wrong posting of course :WD

Christmas topic? Christmas is terible as every year... I'm happy when it's over ^^

we'll eat duck in christmas eve(with some deer for those who don't like duck, like me for example :D ), don't know though what we will eat on 1+2 day of christmas.
on near years eve we will eat fondu i think, but that's still to be decided.

and please, no globalization discussion. i have to learn all this crap again for my a-levels, but luckily i won't need it until february...

We will have Raclette. Nice, but it gets repetitive, because every single substance I happen to mislike as food (mushrooms, OLIVES...) happens also to be among the things to put on your Raclette - dishes, if that's the word.

Luckily, there is tuna :) !

As to the teeth: You should read Piers Anthony's "Prostho Plus". It's marvelous. Well, everything by Piers is marvelous, I don't have to tell you that. But this novel is short enough to just purchase (if you get it, it's from the 80'ies), read, and be captured...or not, and don't regret the buying of a ton of paper. Unlikely as it is, one DOES NOT have to like Piers.

there had not been a single teeth that was broken
single it's tooth ;)

The problem with my teeth is that I (unknowingly) made some evil mistakes in my youth. In the early seventies dental care like brushing ones teeth was not as widespread as today. Maybe once per day, but rather 3 times a week. My parents didn't do it right also so I had half a dozen inlays when I was twenty. Today I suffer from the sins in my youth, sort of.

But lets get back to Christmas. We will have roast beef with dumplings and at least two kinds of vegetable, one will be red cabbage.

Have fun looking for the german words. As horrible as it sounds in english I look forward to the self made potatoe dumplings.

On the second day we are invited to my step mother, I don't know what to await. On the third day we probably eat what is left from before ;)

We will have Raclette too. I love it, theres nothing better than that heavy swiss cheese.

Another question, do u go out on christmas evening?

Since my early youth I meet with a couple of friends for some house-party or we go to a bar or something like that.

Tuna and olive in your raclette?
Wtf ??????????

Raclette is a dish that comes from the alps. No olives and no tuna up there.

Be coherent :clown:

We throw in what is in the storage room. And my people LOVE olives. I hate them for it.

Laughing allowed.

Just as "good evening" - gag. Beware, it's german. I will sleep now...and read Piers Anthony's "Tarot" before. Have I mentioned that he is my favourity author?

First day with bad weather in the country and I already need a break...

Driving onto the highway I have a small car before me, driving about 60 km/h. On the lane where you should speed up nothing like that happens. Me is 30 meters behind that car, on the highway next to me a big lorry with approximately 90 km/h. The car in front of me doesn't speed up, instead the driver doesn't catch the lorry and changes lanes.

I don't know if the lorry driver had his hand just above his signal-horn, but at the same moment the other car is about to change lanes he blows him away with a horn labeled "Jericho".

Me is deaf now, but the story isn't over yet. As the driver in front of me finally recognizes the lorry 5 meters behind him driving MUCH faster, he immediatly changes back to the speed up lane where I am still speeding up my car. He manages to avoid the collision with the lorry but in his attempt to get control over his car back he does a full braking. Remember me speeding up behind him? Still deaf from the horn I kick my break right through the floor. Luckily my car has ABS (antilock brake system) and I can control it.

Both of us finally managed to escape the situation with no harm done except for my ears but I know why I hate foggy mornings in my car.

Life sucks.... will be dead by thursday afternoon.... but life starts again after the last final... looking to get wasted so bad...
