Gerade erst hat der Beta-Test zum vierten World of Warcraft Addon Mists of Pandaria begonnen, da bestätigt Blizzards Chief Operating Officer Paul Sams bereits das nächste. Während man noch nicht mal weiß, wann das vierte Addon erscheint, arbeitet Blizzard also schon an der nächsten Erweiterung, wie man in einem Interview mit Computer and Videogames lesen durfte.
Demnach hat Chris Metzen zuletzt das Konzept für den Patch 6.0 eingereicht, der erst nach Mists of Pandaria erscheinen dürfte. Auch grundlegende Systeme seien schon vorhanden.
Aber man denkt bei Blizzard sogar noch weiter, auch für die Zukunft plant man großes:
„I think the future of World Of Warcraft continues to be bright and I think Mists of Pandaria is going to breathe huge life into what I believe is the best MMO out there. I think the number of people we have playing and the level of enthusiasm they have for the game suggests that to be the case.“
He concluded: „This is the next of many ways in which we’re going to grow and improve and evolve this game.“
Man darf also gespannt sein, was Blizzard sich noch alles einfallen lässt!
