Zu den Problemen mit dem neuen Patch gibt es nun eine erste größere Aussage von Blizzard:
Lockups and Crashes:
We have been receiving reports of lockups and crashing on systems that are using debuggers, daemon-tools, and other virtual CD type programs. By disabling these program the customers we have talked to no longer experience these crashes. Please disable all non essential background applications before running Diablo II or Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.
Laut Berichten, die Blizzard erhalten hat, führen Progamme, wie daemom-tools, debugger und andere virtual CD Programme zu Abstürzen. Man soll diese daher nicht benutzen. Aber auch alle sonstigen unnötigen Hintergrundprozesse ausschalten.
Mac users crashing in the chat channels:
This issue has been resolved and a 1.09d (Mac only) patch can be downloaded by logging onto any of the Battle.net realms.

Last login displaying incorrect fonts:
This issue has been identified and is being resolved.

Port 6112 error when connecting to the USEast Realm:
While not a Diablo II or 1.09c specific issue, the port 6112 error message some users were receiving when connecting to the USEast Realm has been resolved.
