Nachdem beim Judgement Day Part II über 112.000 Accounts gebannt wurden, gibt Blizzard nun weitere Warnungen und Informationen heraus.
We are aware that some Diablo II players are equipping their characters with hacked items. These items are unfairly enhancing their characters, which in turn is giving them an unfair advantage over players who are playing fairly. This problem has been made a high priority and will be resolved. In the meantime, please do not use or trade these items. We will continue to keep you informed as we get closer to implementing a solution.
We have also identified those accounts with which a map-hack program is being used. Accounts that continue to be used with a map-hack program are subject to closure, and the CD keys with which those accounts are being used could be disabled.

Diesmal geht die Warnung deutlich in Richtung Bugged Item User und in Richtung Maphack User. Blizzard hat nun dem Kampf gegen die Bugged Items eine deutlich höhere Priorität eingeräumt und das Problem wird demnächst gelöst werden. Blizzard weist darauf hin, das man nun solche Items nicht mehr tragen soll oder vertraden soll. Sobald neue Informationen diesbezüglich bekannt sind, wird Blizzard uns informieren.
Das gleiche betrifft nun auch Maphack User, Blizzard hat die Accounts von Maphack Usern erkannt und dementsprechend auch markiert. Auch diesbezüglich gibt Blizzard eine klare Warnung raus, dieses mal war es nur ein Warnschuss, aber beim nächstenmal könnten alle Accounts und sogar der CD-Key weg sein. Blizzard wird die Angelegenheit weiter beobachten. Auch der Maphack ist wie der Name schon sagt ein Hack und kein offizielles Tool von Blizzard. All diese Informationen lassen einen Judgement Day Part III vermuten, der wohl bald sein wird.
