Heute Nacht wird es für uns soweit sein, Diablo 3 Patch 2.1.1 wird auf die Battle.net Server aufgespielt. Dieser Patch bringt hauptsächlich Komfortfunktionen und nur kleinere Balanceänderungen, die hauptsächlich die Pets des Hexendoktors betreffen. Zu den Komfortfunktionen gehört unter anderem, dass man bei Kadala in Zukunft deutlich mehr Blutsplitter bezahlen muss, dafür aber auch eine deutlich höhere Chance auf legendäre Gegenstände hat. Hierdurch soll die große Menge unsinniger Items reduziert werden, die bisher regelmäßig im Inventar landet und sowieso ungesehen zum Schmied wandert.
Außerdem werden die Schlüssel für die Infernale Maschine in Gruppenspielen nun gleichmäßig verteilt – entweder erhält jedes Mitglied der Gruppe einen Schlüssel, oder niemand. Außerdem wurden die Kosten für das Verzaubern von Schmuck reduziert – nun reicht ein Imperialer Edelstein zum Verzaubern aus.
