Ja, nun hat auch Blizzard den Hack gefunden oder sich zu einer Stellungnahme hinreißen lassen. Die Rede ist von dem Hack, vor dem wir schon vor einiger Zeit gewarnt haben, ein sogenanntes Drop Modul, daß in den Channel meist als Dupe Tool angepriesen wird, aber nur den Effekt hat, daß alle Items des Benutzers auf den Boden fallen und dann eingesammelt werden können.
A new Diablo II hack targeting the users of hack programs, is currently being circulated under a variety of names. The hack automatically drops all of a character“s inventory on the ground. Some versions of the hack then prevent the player from picking any items back up, while other variants kick the player out of the game. Please protect your characters by avoiding programs you are unsure of. If you notice a program in your email, make sure you know what it is prior to downloading.

Ein neuer Hack, der ausnahmslos User betrifft, die Hacks benutzen betrifft kursiert zur Zeit wieder im Battle.Net unter vielen verschiedenen Namen. Der Hack lässt automatisch die Items eines Charakters auf den Boden droppen. Einige Varianten hindern dann dann Spieler daran seine Items aufzuheben, andere wiederum werfen den Char aus dem Game. Ihr solltet Eure Charaktere schützen, indem Ihr es vermeidet solche unsichern Programme zu benutzen. Solltet Ihr ein solches Programm per eMail bekommen, dann solltet Ihr es auf keinen Fall downloaden.
