In aller Kürze: Patch 2.2.0 für Diablo 3 steht unmittelbar vor der Testphase auf dem Public Test Realm (PTR). Die Daten können bereits heruntergeladen werden, der PTR selbst ist noch nicht online. Mit dem neuen Patch kommt auch die bereits angekündigte Änderung des Dateisystems namens CASC, welches wir vor einigen Tagen in einer News zu Diablo 3 beschrieben haben.

Nevalistis: Wir bereiten gerade Patch 2.2.0 für den PTR vor. Der PTR ist bereits zum Download verfügbar in Eurem Battle.net Launcher. Zur Zeit ist ein Spielen aber noch nicht möglich.
Mit dem Patch kommt auch das neue Dateisystem CASC. Als Folge daraus kann die Installation etwas länger dauern als bisher gewohnt. Wir fahren noch einige interne Tests bevor wir den PTR für die Öffentlichkeit freigeben. Sobald der PTR offen ist, werden wir diesen Thread hier aktualisieren. Haltet Eure Augen also offen. (…)

Patch 2.2.0 includes migration to a new file system called CASC (which you can read more about here). As a result, the installation may take longer than you’ve previously experienced. We’re also running additional internal tests before opening up the PTR to the public. Once the the PTR servers are available for testing, we’ll update this thread accordingly and post patch notes. Keep an eye on our front page for more information.
