„4gamerz: Diablo, Diablo II, and Lord of Destruction are very successful. Are you working on Diablo 3 yet? If no: Are there any plans for another sequel? If yes: When are you going to publish Diablo 3? Thank you for the interview.
Bill: The Diablo II team is currently working on making the jump from 2D to 3D while we design our next project. As with any of our games, the decision on what to do next comes from what the teams have a passion for creating, so whether or not there will be a sequel to Diablo II depends on those people and the interests of the company weighed, of course, with the interests and desires of our gaming community. With only three development teams, it is a challenge to make as many games as we want to create or the fans of our worlds want to see, but we will continue to do our best.“
