Die Battle.Net Channel, unendliche Weiten, und mittendrin ein kleiner unscheinbarer Diamant, oder auch Gem genannt. Mindest 1000 Mal wurde nach ihm im Hilfe Forum gefragt, genau so oft in den Community Foren, und sicherlich noch öfter in den Battle.Net Foren. So auch diesmal. Aber jetzt bekamen wir eine erschütternde Antwort. Er könnte doch noch einen Sinn bekommen. Ein Raunen geht durch die Diablo II – Welten, hatte sich doch nun auch der letzte Zweifler mit der Sinnlosigkeit des „Chat Gems“ abgefunden, und nun soll er wirklich zu etwas zu gebrauchen sein ?
djdonk : I keep hearing in the chat channels, especially in USWest, that that the mysterious gem that „activates“ and „deactivates“ will actually do something at the realese of the ever debated 1.10 patch. As to what it will do, well, the past speculation has been rampant enough. One of the more reoccurring theories of the gem“s nature is that it was intended to be some sort of „clan only chat“ option. Once activated, the gem allowed one to talk only to other clan members. That option implied that Bilzzard had intentions to solidify the clan stucture in LoD, which currently is loose at best. I don“t claim to have hard evidence, just passing on the rumor, as these forums are widely used for.
Edward H. : Though I can“t make an „official“ comment on the chat gem I personally expect it to work a lot better in the 1.10 patch.
Naja, es ist zwar nichts offizielles, aber wenn ein Blizzard Mitarbeiter etwas gesagt hat, dann war immer noch ein Funken Wahrheit dabei, also warten wir weiterhin gespannt auf den Patch 1.10. Und neben der Tatsache, daß unser allseits bekannter und geliebter Chat Gem endlich eine Aufgabe erhalt, erscheinen die Fragen nach neuen Uniques und Runenwörtern doch eher klein und unwichtig, oder ? 🙂
